| 10. Author: DNCH Date: Tue 25th Nov 2025. 02:49 Think it`s a sensible appointment for them. Lord knows Dougie Imrie probably needs a fresh start after the recent tragedy he and his family lived through. What I will say is, from a purely football POV, it`s an indication of where Rovers` short term ambition is. He`s unlikely to be the guy who inspires them into a promotion drive. It`s a safe mid-table appointment. In fairness he`s overseen a few squad overhauls at Morton so he`ll be well positioned to do the same for the Rovers this season because my mate (a big Rovers fan) tells me they only currently have 5 first team players signed beyond the summer. Plus the team is really getting on in age. Post Edited (Tue 25 Nov 02:50) Reply |

Linking up with Andy Millen, former assistant at Greenock Morton. ‘Ton pal says he’d be happy with Ian Murray, the former Rovers manager. ”Buffy’s Buns are the finest in Fife”, J.
