I see Slavia Prague have had to replay the derby and play another four games behind closed doors after the abandonment of the Sparta Prague match. No doubt the SFA will refuse to take action. There was disorder outside the semi final against St Mirren as well. This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it. Reply |

It wont matter to that lot, they will still be scummy b*stards in and round the town. Thing is, if they win the cup it will mean nothing to them, and if like 07 half them will be out the ground before the trophies even lifted. Reply |

Author: GG Riva Date: Sun 17th May 2026. 08:17 saltonsgonagetu, Sat 16 May 23:05 I think that the "friendship" you allude to goes back to the season we played our last game at Parkhead under Jim Leishman. Celtic were champions and we were relegated, but there was a friendly atmosphere among fans of both sides. I agree that a significant number of Celtic and Rangers fans are an embarrassment to Scottish football. The only way to cut this cancer out of our game is to make their clubs play behind closed doors. ![]() Not your average Sunday League player. Reply |

To tar all Celtic and Rangers fans as "utter dregs" etc. is nonsensical, embarrassing and ignorant - in the literal sense of the word. I know/ have known Celtic fans from a wide variety of backgrounds - doctors, dentists, opticians, lawyers, teachers, a very senior police officer and military personnel etc, as well as "ordinary punters" none of whom could be remotely termed as above. Also a few Rangers fans likewise. Post Edited (Sun 17 May 08:47) Reply |
| 146. Author: wee eck Date: Mon 18th May 2026. 23:25 Re whether the game was over or abandoned, ex-ref Steve Conroy has just said on BBC that there is no requirement for the ref to signal the end of the game by blowing his whistle! He didn`t suggest an alternative means of communication though. Reply |
| 147. Author: ipswichpar Date: Tue 19th May 2026. 06:31 Well, the laws of the game state a ref needs a whistle, and one of the reasons is to end the game. Which suggests he might have got it wrong..... a common occurrence it would appear! Reply |
| 148. Author: wee eck Date: Tue 19th May 2026. 06:45 I`ve often thought it strange that there seems to be no formal way for a ref to signal a goal. I thought they used to blow their whistle and point to the centre spot when a goal was scored but now they seem more interested in making sure players don`t over-celebrate. I usually check that the AR is running back to the halfway line rather than look at the ref. Reply |

| 150. Author: SusieQ Date: Tue 19th May 2026. 08:24 If he DID blow the ft whistle then it must have been awfy quick as he was helping to usher the Hearts players & staff up the tunnel! Thought it was quite funny the Hearts players arrived back at Tynecastle still wearing their kit. Ok they wanted out asap but the fans didn`t invade the dressing room & im sure they could have got away while the trophy presentation was going on - or at least stick on a club tracksuit on the bus lol!! COME ON YE PARS! Reply |
| 151. Author: BouncyPar Date: Tue 19th May 2026. 09:00 SusieQ - some were even still wearing their boots, despite a 60+ minute drive on a luxury coach. It was obviously done to add extra impact to the photos of them getting off the bus, and I can`t say I blame them, but it was slightly OTT! Reply |

| 156. Author: jake89 Date: Tue 19th May 2026. 17:56 I don`t think there`s necessarily conscious bias but there`s definitely bias there. I think it`s the pressure of two clubs who have far more fans and far more sway in the media. You get a decision for the Pars wrong and you feel the wrath of this forum. You get a Celtic or Rangers decision wrong and your windows are panned in and your car tyres are slashed. Reply |

You can invade a pitch, threatening supporters, threatening staff, threatening players, invade before end of match and have a riot in the town. And the authorities the police the clubs and the sfa/spfl do nothing pretend nothing happened. And then hold an indeoendant inquiries on old firm match, because this gives a chance to be watered down let everyone forget so do nothing. And the hearts match we have heard nothing except it was declared full time and not abandoned, which is a lie nothing on the threats violence etc. Also nothing from the club`s except, martin O`Neil stating that if there was violence it`s wrong, come on "IF" Watch the tv. Author: Playup_Pompey Date: Wed 20th May 2026. 15:09 "come on "IF" Watch the tv" still yet to see anyone injured/assaulted. plenty with a w@nkrr sign or 2 fingers up as they run passed and a hearts player stamping on a phne dropped by a celtic fan but the "assaults" and "violence" in the stadium didnt happen. The imagines fron trongate/merchant city are seperate and literally any dreg from glasgow/surrounding suburbs were there and would be a gred in their own suburb when celebrating. Reply |
