There was clearly an option for a recall in the agreement, and that’s what they’ve done. We all knew he wasn’t going to start. It is what it is. If Connolly gets injured and they have to put in a youth player, and lose as a result of his errors, how would they feel about that? We got him emergency loan and one of the conditions of that loan is that they could call him back. Frustrating as it is, it’s just a really unfortunate set of circumstances. Especially as our replacement had a nightmare and contributed to us losing the game. He is on a normal loan, it’s Motherwell who have recalled him as an emergency. You can’t get emergency loans for 6 months. Reply
