| 1. Author: calum96 Date: Sat 23rd May 2026. 21:05 Some of the comments im reading tonight are absolutely laughable. I thought the boys done us all proud and gave everything they could. With the team selection I could see exactly what NL was trying to do, make us hard to beat and I completely agree with that but it didn’t just quite work out. As for the players, this is the biggest occasion most of them have ever been a part of. 40 odd thousand in the stands playing against players with real quality that get punted about for millions of ££s. I thought second half especially we were outstanding and had some moments of brilliant play but ultimately it just wasn’t enough. Win or lose today the boys should still all be proud of themselves. This season has given us all so many reasons to be proud to be pars fans. Players have given the fans everything and we’ve not had a season like this in a long time. | 2. Author: Bletchley_Par Date: Sat 23rd May 2026. 21:10 We knew we needed to be at the top of our game, a bit of luck and Celtic to have an off day. Morrison was unlucky. A defensive error cost us dear. Celtic were not at their peak, but still pretty good. I think the choice of tactics were right, but the trifecta just never aligned for us.  Reply |

We outplayed them second half, opposite first half they won league due to being clinical and fast we struggled with that, yes we made a few mistakes. Against top of league, did not expect any different. Did anyone really think we would dominate whole match, make loads of chances and no mistakes, if so they are naive. Lennon tried different tactics, to keep top guns til late and stop them scoring, nearly worked, second goal put a kaibosh to that. We are not the finished article, needs some work, but a cracking season Reply |
| 7. Author: USMac Date: Sat 23rd May 2026. 22:14 The second goal really knocked the stuffing out of the team until HT. It’s also a much different game if we’re down 0-1 at HT rather 0-2. Ox has been very good, but he should have done better with the shot that very clearly was coming. If we were down only 0-1 at HT, the second half might have turned out differently. Reply |
