Topic: Pray for Uxbridge

Apparently there is no chip shop in Uxbridge town centre and residents are forced to walk up to 10 minutes to find one. Never fear, the local Tory has his finger on the pulse and is pledging to make this a priority by launching a petition, which is no way a mechanism to capture your personal data...honest.

You`re becoming as good as Parboiled at hunting down the BIG political stories of the day! I`m surprised fish and chips are popular in Uxbridge. Isn`t that BoJo`s former seat?

If only there was some register, or roll if your prefer, that would have the names and addresses of people who vote.

And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Harvesting more than name and address.

The people of Uxbridge need and demand an improvement to the provision of fried foods in the town centre.

Really Jake? I`ve seen footage of this mp getting people to sign the petition. Looks like a standard petition with people jotting down their name and address? What else are they writing down?

Email and phone with this little note:

"I agree to Steve Tuckwell using the contact information I provide to keep me updated via email and telephone on this and other issues until further notice."

And apparently the paper version asks for email and phone NOT a signature 😂

If it’s the same story I’ve read on X he’s the same politician who voted against a local business opening a fish n chip shop in the town.

What a guy. Though it does sound like a very Tory thing. They pushed for Brexit because everything was Europe`s fault. Now Brexit is failing it`s STILL Europe`s fault.
