Lovely guy, and a great supporter of the football club and the various associated organisations, including Dunfermline Athletic Disabled Supporters Club (DADSC).

Sincere condolences to Dave`s family.

This is awful news to take in. Met Dave so many times on the press door at EEP and we socialised a couple of times over the years too on .net nights out.

When I read his post on the All I want for Christmas thread I felt very sad. He didn’t get his wish sadly.

My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

That is such sad news.

Such a good guy: loved chatting to him about all things Dunfermline. A true Par who I will miss very much.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I got to know Dave through Schools Engagement and not only was he a lovely man and a huge Pars man, he went out his way to help all the classes who came to the stadium.

Condolences to all his family.

Wherever he has gone i`m sure he will be dishing out cards with a devilish smile. Glad to have known and shared moderating duties with dave. A rapier wit and master of understated sarcasm. Will miss you pal.

If I could respectfully ask, Admin, once everyone has had a chance to leave their condolences on this thread, that ir may be printed off / sent to Dave’s family so they may take some comfort from it at this very sad time.

I didn’t have the privilege of knowing Dave personally, but he was clearly very well regarded around East End Park. The loss of any dedicated Pars fan is a very sad occasion. My sincere condolences to Dave’s friends and loved ones.

I didn`t know him but I recognise him from the photo on COWS. He was another of the small band of people who make it possible for a club like ours to function on a match day. RIP.
