Topic: Bad request

`Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.`

Has anyone else had a recurrence of this message? It`s happened when I`ve tried to post from my laptop using Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

I’d think clearing out cookies would sort that.

I was getting same issue on phone

I optimised database
I was also on Chrome used an incognito window, it`s OK now

I still get the error message if I try to log in but it works if I `go incognito`!

That almost confirms it’s a cookie issue - clear ‘em out, even just for the forum site, and all should be well.

I`m still getting this on my android phone.
tried deleting coolies etc

works fine on laptop and incognito mode


still investigating

I had to delete cookies on my phone
It used 9mb
Had to do it in specific menu, Site Controls, cookies and site data
