Author: Berkey Date: Mon 30th Sep 2024. 21:10 Why sign someone today so they can get a weeks training under their belt with the squad when we can leave it to Friday afternoon to save a few hundred quid. Sat is quite a big game, would really like to see some quality brought in today and maybe if fit enough they could make the bench and give us an additional option on at. If it’s a player requiring international clearance maybe our current owners have helped find this player and are trying to get it over the line? We have not utilised the loan market at all this year though - 1 of a possible 4 in Scotland and 1 from unlimited amounts from England - really poor going. Was this not a reason for us not signing players earlier in summer? Reply |
