42. Author: kelty_par Date: Sat 28th Sep 2024. 16:44 Was a lovely goal. Not sure why we waited until we were 2 goals down to think about getting forward though. We`ve looked like we could create if we get forward, so it`s baffling and frustrating that we didn`t start on the front foot in a winnable home game. Reply |
43. Author: Berkey Date: Sat 28th Sep 2024. 16:50 Kelty could it be because it’s been drilled into them to sit tight and get to 70 mins at 0-0 then let’s see if we can sneak one? That’s the mcpake way The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity! Reply |
44. Author: kelty_par Date: Sat 28th Sep 2024. 16:57 Certainly looks that way although we started on the front foot v the Rovers. A bit unlucky not to get something at the end there which makes it all the worse imo. Cowardly behaviour from the manager. Reply |

47. Author: Indiapar Date: Sat 28th Sep 2024. 17:13 QP we`re the better side. They were much more ambitious going forward with better movement off the ball. I think we had one attempt in the first half that wasn`t on target. QP deserved their first hal lead. QP came out in the 2nd half as if they were the team a goal down. No surprise really when they went 2 up. We never looked positive going forward, stray passes and too many sideways or backwards passes, I thought. You can`t wait for 70 minutes to start to put the opposition under pressure especially when two goals down. Alot of effort but we lack invention and cutting edge. Reply |

49. Author: Raymie the Legend Date: Sat 28th Sep 2024. 17:24 Too little too late. Why wait until we are two down to show some fight and urgency ? It`s bloody tough being a legend Ron Atkinson - 1983 Reply |
50. Author: Berkey Date: Sat 28th Sep 2024. 17:27 They practice defending and keep ball during the week. Look at who our attacking players are, someone who has never produced at this level and someone who hasn’t got the legs for this level anymore. Cooper looks like a possible rare success story but of course will be benched as not defensive enough. The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity! Reply |

58. Author: gordi-b Date: Sat 28th Sep 2024. 18:26 Unbelievably bad , worst team in league and look like the most unfit team also, didn,t start to play until last 20 mins , where do other teams get these players that can actually beat a man. shameful display G.B Reply |
59. Author: pacifist Date: Sat 28th Sep 2024. 18:34 It was pretty grim but we should still have got something from the game once we went for it. Strong claims for a penalty when a hand blocked a shot heading for goal. Two of the subs made a huge difference and changed the dynamics and led to our goal. Defending was poor at the corners but whose fault is that? Very frustrating with an awful first half. Dont see McPake going anywhere. Some players need a good dose of confidence. Reply |
60. Author: d3monstrate Date: Sat 28th Sep 2024. 18:54 Not much data to go on, but with Mehmet in goals we`ve lost every game but the Spartans match. With Tobi, we are unbeaten, including a draw against the team top of the division... Is the goalkeeper the problem? Reply |
