You may have seen the announcement from DAFC on the official website:
https://dafc.co.uk/first-floor-access-at-kdm-group-east-end-park/

This is excellent news, and will be of great benefit to our fans with mobility problems, and also to the wider community in West Fife who use these function suites for parties, funeral teas etc. No longer will they have to be left out of activities that non-disabled people have been able to enjoy.

DADSC would like to put on record the excellent support given by the DAFC Ltd Board, particularly David Cook and Drew Main, in helping bring this project to the point we are now at.

Tribute has to be paid to DAFC`s fans, and those with no affiliation to the Pars, who collectively have raised the money needed for the work. They have walked, danced, been shaved, partied, donated and bought merchandise, put money in buckets and a whole host of other activities. Thank you all so much.

Due to a number of factors the project will probably turn out to be more expensive than we originally thought, and if anyone wants to help then any donations will be very much appreciated, and you can do so at:

Got quite emotional reading this. My dad would`ve loved hearing it's finally going to get started. Well done to everyone involved in getting this off the ground (no pun intended...)

Delighted to hear this. My wife and I made donations on behalf of two neighbours who were loyal Pars fans and who both passed away before their time - they would have been thrilled to hear this news. Huge congratulations to everyone involved.

Excellent work getting this approved, and for all the hard work involved in the fundraising, onwards and upwards.

Fantastic news - as one of the many people who have thrown as much (spare) cash as possible to you over the years, it`s absolutely brilliant to see it come to fruition at last 👏🏼👏🏼

Quite emotional reading this, too.

So much appreciation to you and the DADSC supporters for raising the money, and continuing to do so.

Very well done. I know how long this has taken and heartening to hear how much this will benefit Pars fans with mobility issues in the years to come.

Great news that the target has been finally been reached after such a long time fundraising. A wee bit disappointing to hear GG Riva the other day say that there were 11 millionaires and a billionaire behind the original GmbH group... you`d think that one or more them could have easily funded this from money they found down the back of their expensive sofas. Let`s face it, if they are really that rich they`d make it back on interest in a fee hours and could write it off as a charitable donation for tax purposes. Think of the good will and positive headlines it would have created too, and for a virtual outlay of zero to them.

It`s fine, they can stand in front of it when it opens and get a nice press picture like happens with far too many charitable ventures.

I know this will have been mentioned already but where does the lift go. Is it from ground level to Legends or from hospitality to the main stand?
