Rusty Shackleford, Sat 26 Oct 17:05

Badly coached. You`re not telling me that squad is much worse than anyone else after ten games, I`m not buying it.

Agree with you there RS. Not saying we would skoosh the league with someone else at the helm but there is enough talent there to potentially push for a playoff place. That would take a manager who isn`t a stubborn kkuntt tho.

I’ve heard there’s a meeting back at EEP? Can anyone confirm?

Why would you ever bring chalmers on, he is a pretty! non effective midfielder

Because there was no one else to come on apart from central
defenders when Mcann got injured

That would be the only positive news today.

Obviously sacking McPake is needed but some of the players should be hanging their head in shame, no one wants the ball and are happy to hide and hold hands with the defenders instead of offering an option.

Not good enough in my humble opinion.

I`ve swayed back and forth on the manager, but I`m fully in the manager out camp now.
He`s had enough time and our record is poor.

The flame still burns

Disappointing result again. Bottom line is that we need to be capable of scoring two goals in a game to start getting victories. We need to find a way of doing that. We definitely need to be on the front foot at the start of the game. Losing a goal and trying to fight your way back into it has been a familiar story this season. We need to get a winning mentality.

Maybe playing the only striker scoring at the club would be a decent start

I am totally disillusioned. Spent an enjoyable afternoon away from tv and radio and defrosted my freezer. Much more entertaining than watching a team coached by McPake

Can’t we start selling half season tickets?

This would be tickets that get you in at half time so you only watch the 2nd half, only issue is you don’t want someone to ruin it for you by telling you the half time score.

Something has got to give soon, if this is the best we’ve got the players are not good enough or they ain’t playing for the manager, either way mcpake is on the hook.

Working most weekends is really a blessing under McPake. Gives me a reason not to have to go and watch the utter crap served up week on week.

Get this imposter fired immediately.

Mcpake clearly has no idea tactically we looked like a bunch of scoolboys at times in the first half although we did fashion a couple of chances which as usual we failed to convert, his obsession with playing Wighton week after week is unbelievable he brings nothing to the team,

So, we have lost by the odd goal against the top of the league. They arent great but are somehow 20 points above us.

There is no doubt the players were trying but there are continuous wee errors that are frustrating. The 2nd goal was absolutely inept. It came when it looked as though the 3 subs were making a difference in terms of speed and aggression. That goal took the legs from us.

The subs came just after Hosler and Wighton almost created a goal. If the cross was an inch closer to Wighton it would have got it in. Hosler was also getting space to run at their defenders.

Were the subs too early? Did the subs lead to the 2nd goal?

So, not a lot is going for us despite the effort. There is enough for people to debate the decisions that are taken. But you don`t get debate in the stands - just constant abuse.

I think we have a good squad. They need a reasonable amount to time to gel. But only so much. And MCPake has to fashion the team so they don`t make silly mistake but more importantly create and take chances.

We have Tuesday to come. I have to assume everyone wants us to do well. If you want to boo the team and abuse the players can it not wait till the game is over.

reasonable amount to time to gel - We will be in league 1 by then.

We are already one quarter of the season in and we don`t look anywhere close to it

The season started months ago. We farted about all summer with nobody signed, panic signed a few once the board realised how miserably cheap they were being and now we`re left with this mess.

Oh to have Crawford back...

When Mebude and Cooper were running at them they looked a bit panicky at the back. So it was bizarre when Sutherland came on he played him wide and moved Dapo central where he wasn`t as effective. Yet more square pegs in round holes nonsense from the Galaxy brain in the dug out. Any momentum we had gone.
