He’s come through all the tests, he’s trained well, unless something drastically goes wrong, then he’ll be available for tomorrow. We were careful with Chris Kane and any head knock. We had Fisher and Hammy last season and obviously the scare with Deniz Mehmet, down at Ayr United. I don’t care how bad a run in form is, how important a game is, I’m never going to risk a player, particularly with a head injury. “There’s injuries you can risk players with, we understand that, if it’s a tight hamstring and it’s the last game of the season, or if it’s a sore ankle that they can get through. You can risk that but certainly when it comes to a player’s wellbeing. I know an injury is their wellbeing, a hamstring there’s levels to it, and when it’s a head injury or anything like that, then there’s absolutely no way I would or ever will, take a chance on a player. Chris has done well this week and we expect him to be available.” Club Ownership Commenting on reports about potential takeover of the club James said:- “We know the circumstances and the situation that’s ongoing. I’m in constant dialogue, I speak to David Cook every day, mainly on the footballing side, still have conversations with Thomas (Meggle) about bits and pieces, with both of them involved but that’s above me. My job is to try and get us converting those chances, and picking the team for a game on Saturday. My full focus is on Airdrie at home tomorrow.” Reply |
