Young is cup tied for both games.

Stevens is cup tied for Wednesday night unless there is some rule about B team players being eligible despite playing in previous rounds, but is available for Sunday.

Does anyone know the £ value of progressing from Wednesday`s game ? If it`s not a substantial amount do you give more of the guys who aren`t currently playing game time ? It`s imperative that we stay in the championship and were not going to win the SC and if there isn`t much to gain by winning the semi then is it worth risking our important players ?

It’s been a miserable season which now has a hint of recovery. Getting to a final (even a tinpot one) would help to contribute more to a sense of wellbeing for both fans and players that would generate more positive momentum than any benefit from resting players would give.

£40k currently.

£60k if we lose in the final.

£100k to win it.

Plus gate receipts of course but can`t see a final v Queens Park hitting much above 6/7k depending on what kind of run we`re on.

We are not going to be relegated this season.
We want to win the cup.
The players want to win the cup.

I thought it was a good debut. Encouraging signs and he could be a good player for us. Also has some physical presence.

Wish people would stop calling it a tinpot cup. It’s an opportunity for 30 or more teams to compete and have a chance of winning a cup trophy in a year without the battle of the Prem clubs.

A trophy is a trophy at the end of the day, all clubs and players should be wanting to win it, or whats the point in football?

That bugs me, too. We should want to win everything open to us. I`m sure the club and players do.
