Thought it was their choice of players

Interesting! All the players signed to help in January and a new manager and that’s the best they can come up with?

They should be feeling pretty worried.

According to sportsound they only mentioned James bord. Tidser stated pre match he is in regular contact with bord. Interesting how their next conversation will go after he witnessed today.

It’s hard to believe that Wotherspoon and Chalmers never got on. Yes, they are not the most athletic, but both can find a pass.
It just lends a bit more to the suspicion that the manager is being told to play the new signings.

It`s really not.

Things are bad, but that`s a wild take.

It`s not a wild take at all, at least Chalmers actively looks for the ball and takes responsibility. Our midfield was totally missing for most of the match.

The issue isn`t the individuals IMO, it`s the way they`re being told to play.

Bringing on Joe would have changed absolutely nothing with Tidser insisting we play the way we are.

We will agree to disagree. Which of our midfielders played well? Which one made an incisive pass?

Nothing on the wings at all. Trying to go through the middle all the time. McCann was getting some joy when we did go wide. That cross across the goal was begging for someone to get on the end of it.

You think Tidser doesn`t want his centre midfielders to look for the pass from Bene or JCM? Otoo has regressed wildly in that team, the boy can`t control a ball.

or pass a ball
or head a ball
wins a tackle now and again, then gives it back to the opposition under no pressure

they cannot do some of the most basic things in the game, our best 11 needs at least 13 players no matter they style or shape and thats been the same for nearly 2 seasons now. that was never going to be fixed in 2 weeks in January.

If this is an example of data analytics in football, it`s been pretty unimpressive so far.

If the new owners were there today they should give Tidser his P45 and get Murray in to keep us up.

The new owners are clueless. They’re treating our club like a toy. Appointing a rookie manager and filling our squad with random youngsters when we’re in the midst of a relegation battle. Fussballclub GmbH were bad enough but at this stage I think we’ve gone out of the frying pan into the fire.

lol otoo is a left back that we’ve chucked in midfield but the guy ain’t a midfielder so unsurprisingly has had quite frankly a terrible season producing nothing of note since the opening weeks.

To be honest we could let go of every single player and we wouldn’t miss any of them next season. Well unless there’s more dross like yeboah brought in.

Sadly at this moment in time Dunfermline Athletic are utterly woeful. Play off at best and if we continue playing as badly whoever we get in those play offs will fancy their chances and rightly so…..

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.
