Have all you guys been good at predicting results throughout the season because I haven`t. How many thought we would beat Livi last Wednesday?

Desperate times n all that ,haven`t we got someone on the fringes that is tall and can jump? If so,stick them up front with our best crossers out on both wings. It`s not an original idea, other teams have done it. I think Arsenal done it recently and even though I can`t remember the player, it wielded goals. Then there was Andy Tod, central defence one week, striker the next.

I`m just throwing out an idea, but without Mr Glass we need to think outside the box.

I backed us to beat Livi on Weds with the bookies at 11/4 - odds too good to miss out on! Shame Palace failed to beat Southampton though 🙄

You must have kept that to yourself, Lpt, as I don`t recall much confidence being expressed on here before the game.

I think the vast majority of dotnetters expected us to lose to Livi after the disappointing performance v Ayr. Conversely, there was a great deal of optimism generated by the win v Livi and almost all of us thought we could/ would beat Hamilton. One poster (can`t find it now) said it didn`t matter as we ended up with the same points he/she expected but that`s not true as Hamilton would have been a point behind us instead of 2 in front had results gone as he/she predicted.

It’s really difficult to predict. Feel like QP are currently the worst of the 4 teams in the fight, but they had a head start on the rest of us.

I think deep down I feel that we’ll escape, but the result on Saturday was a big blow.

All huge games now. Need to beat QP and Airdrie.

If we can survive by a miniscule of a whisker, I will be ecstatic and that`s what I`m holding out for. But obviously 3 points would be better. COYP.

We might beat QP but I don’t see us getting any points against Partick, Airdrie or Morton away.

To be fair, the fact we haven`t won back to back games all season it wasn`t looking good for Saturday. Yet again this lot bottled it when it mattered.

c'mon the pars

I was questioning how anyone can confidently predict what`s going to happen in the next 4 games based on recent results in this League.

Hate to burst your bubble mate but Stephen Glass hasn’t played for the pars in years

We`ve played better against the better teams i think.
So I`m fine with who we have for last 3 games.
Saturday could be a toss up

Need to score first against QP on Saturday. That would give the team a boost and sure we would go on and win. Lose the first goal and think we are done!

We also beat the Rovers at East End after going 1-0 down to a first-half penalty.

End of the day that was super disappointing on Saturday and felt like an opportunity missed on various levels (league position, big crowd, momentum, etc).

However we are by no means dead and buried, and I’m sure there will be lots of twists and turns before the final whistle of the last league match - both for us and those around us.

All we can do is dust ourselves down and attack the next game with as much intensity and bravery as we can muster - we’re only one win away from potentially being 7th so it’s still all to play for!
