23. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Mon 7th Apr 2025. 14:25 Desperate times n all that ,haven`t we got someone on the fringes that is tall and can jump? If so,stick them up front with our best crossers out on both wings. It`s not an original idea, other teams have done it. I think Arsenal done it recently and even though I can`t remember the player, it wielded goals. Then there was Andy Tod, central defence one week, striker the next. I`m just throwing out an idea, but without Mr Glass we need to think outside the box. Pars fan. Magpies fan. Mens tennis fan. Alternative rock fan. Not a fan of much else. Reply |

26. Author: wee eck Date: Mon 7th Apr 2025. 17:27 You must have kept that to yourself, Lpt, as I don`t recall much confidence being expressed on here before the game. Reply |

28. Author: GG Riva Date: Mon 7th Apr 2025. 18:51 wee eck, Mon 7 Apr 17:27 I think the vast majority of dotnetters expected us to lose to Livi after the disappointing performance v Ayr. Conversely, there was a great deal of optimism generated by the win v Livi and almost all of us thought we could/ would beat Hamilton. One poster (can`t find it now) said it didn`t matter as we ended up with the same points he/she expected but that`s not true as Hamilton would have been a point behind us instead of 2 in front had results gone as he/she predicted. ![]() Not your average Sunday League player. 30. Author: Higgys Mohawk Date: Mon 7th Apr 2025. 19:43 It’s really difficult to predict. Feel like QP are currently the worst of the 4 teams in the fight, but they had a head start on the rest of us. I think deep down I feel that we’ll escape, but the result on Saturday was a big blow. All huge games now. Need to beat QP and Airdrie. Reply |
31. Author: Paralex Date: Mon 7th Apr 2025. 19:44 If we can survive by a miniscule of a whisker, I will be ecstatic and that`s what I`m holding out for. But obviously 3 points would be better. COYP. Reply |

34. Author: wee eck Date: Mon 7th Apr 2025. 21:17 I was questioning how anyone can confidently predict what`s going to happen in the next 4 games based on recent results in this League. Reply |

36. Author: Gaz3822 Date: Mon 7th Apr 2025. 22:50 We`ve played better against the better teams i think. So I`m fine with who we have for last 3 games. Saturday could be a toss up Reply |
37. Author: summeragent Date: Tue 8th Apr 2025. 09:31 Need to score first against QP on Saturday. That would give the team a boost and sure we would go on and win. Lose the first goal and think we are done! Reply |
38. Author: Lesliepartoo Date: Tue 8th Apr 2025. 09:53 summeragent, Tue 8 Apr 09:31 Like the 3 times we went behind to Falkirk. Or the time we went behind to morton Cmon ye pars Reply |
39. Author: wee eck Date: Tue 8th Apr 2025. 10:32 We also beat the Rovers at East End after going 1-0 down to a first-half penalty. Reply |
40. Author: DBP Date: Tue 8th Apr 2025. 10:45 End of the day that was super disappointing on Saturday and felt like an opportunity missed on various levels (league position, big crowd, momentum, etc). However we are by no means dead and buried, and I’m sure there will be lots of twists and turns before the final whistle of the last league match - both for us and those around us. All we can do is dust ourselves down and attack the next game with as much intensity and bravery as we can muster - we’re only one win away from potentially being 7th so it’s still all to play for!
