I recon we arent as bad as some (most) of you make out.
We make plenty effort and some decent moves.
We just cant score.

Maybe we should just practice shots from outside the box all week.
I`d put wee Raymond in the middle for corners. He can jump higher than any of the big lads.

April 1st is past - league tables don’t lie.

27 goals scored speaks for itself.

We really are as bad as most of us think.

I think we should practice getting a half decent ball into the box, how to pick out a man in the box and how to take corners that clear the first defender.

Set Pieces have been horrendous for a while now. Paul Allan delivered some nice set plays last season.

Cooper had a few decent corners when he came on but apart from that Todd struggled yesterday.

That has been obvious since the season started.

Wotherspoon was involved in a few decent set pieces under McPake.

Where`s he disappeared to?

Your guess is as good as mine.

Wotherspoons had a go on them, Otoo was worse than Todd on them.

With set pieces such a key part of the game these days, it’s a shame we don’t have anyone who can deliver a decent ball into the box.

I`d like to see a bit more shoot-on-sight policy. Pull the bloomin` trigger! Otoo can hit them, so can Chalmers, Wotherspoon and McCann and others when they let themsels. I`d rather see a player have a blue hairy fit and miss by five yairds than ditherin` aboot like the man wi` the blindfold in blind man`s buff!

To me, against Livi, it appeared as if we`d been told to be decisive in defence, cut out the risky stuff and blooter it out. Once or twice we still played it risky - e.g. Comrie tried tae usher the ba` ower the byeline an got it nicked off him, which could have been disastrous.

In defence, I say when in doubt, play it safe - don`t risk a stray pass or getting it nicked off ye. In attack, when in doubt - shoot! Either way when watching the Pars, there`s times when I`m saying, `for Gors sake, kick the bl**dy thing!`

It`s simple:
In defence - don`t take a chance. In attack - take a chance.

There’s no space to get a shot off, with us having very little width teams pack the centre of the park and are hard to break down and create space.

Our players are not quick enough of thought either, our strikers apart from Kane don’t make intelligent runs to create space and take defenders away from others and our midfielders are too static to make space for themselves and rarely run beyond the strikers.

Also I’m not sure if those of the 4 names you mention can “hit them” otoo maybe but the rest have very few goals from range for us so suggesting they have a decent shot on them is perhaps a bit far fetched and is not something I’ve seen from them.

We just don’t have that quality of player to get in a good position, look up and pick a man out to give them a good chance to score, the dross we have always need that extra touch and get dispossessed when the eventually look up or play it blind and just hope it’s lucky and it turns into an easy clearance as the defender anticipates it.

Shooting practice, what an outstanding idea.

I`m pretty sure that shooting practice will be on the training schedule every day,the coaches and manager aren`t stupid.

We need to be quicker and more decisive on the break. Remember when we beat Dun Utd 3-1 and Jacubiak and KRT were on fire 🔥
