Stream completely dropped. Any reason why we can`t get a reliable stream in a home game at the end of the season?

The stream has been fine for me.

I think most of the time people report issues, it`s down to their own device/settings. I have a 250mb/s connection, a relatively recent device, use a wired connection and have disabled all adblock/content-blocker type stuff for the domain - and very rarely have an issue. Which suggests the stream itself is fine.

There`s no reason for passive aggressive questions like "any reason why we can`t get a reliable stream in a home game at the end of the season?" from some people. You`re speaking to volunteers, not a customer service department.

They’re paying for a service. Whether it’s run by volunteers or not is largely irrelevant, it should be fit for purpose.

thanks for feedback,

I had two streams out on A and B today, I did think one of them did have an issue.

I am watching the Stream A now and don`t see any issues.
as this is a fibre connection at EEP it should be ok.

Can you guys please have a look at it at half time . I’ve tried all the stream types and there all jittering around. Watching on MacBook m3 ultra processor with very good broadband speed.

I`m also paying for "a service" and it`s completely fine for me - which suggests it`s their own device/connection/settings.

Also, the fact it is run by volunteers is relevant. Everyone knows that it`s delivered by volunteers. As a result, when you purchase the service, you`re paying for something delivered by volunteers, not a professional service.

Could it be an issue with support for MacOS or something related to use of Arm CPUs?

there was two connections output today, the main will be working fine, the other may have caused some issues.

keep me posted, as I say if you have issues get onto the Support Chat bottom right on home page and we can check your connection

I`m using an ARM MacBook, but I have adblock disabled, and when I open the tab in Safari I `right click` on the refresh button and select `Reload without content blockers`. That might be worth trying for some.

I think people need to react in good faith, rather than just blaming volunteers, or presuming something is broken because they saw a stream buffer. Sometimes with technology you need to try different things and troubleshoot, or reach out through live chat.

I work in IT and a good proportion of the tickets I deal with are people claiming something isn`t working or `down` - be that a web form, a website or whatever. Almost all of the time, it`s something on the user`s side - the cache needing cleared, the DNS needing reset, an issue with a browser setting. When you suggest to folk that they do something at their end, they`re often defensive and insistent that it`s not an issue at their side.

My point is that people shouldn`t be so quick to blame the volunteers. If you have an issue you should try stream A, B, C and D. You should clear your cache. You should try a different browser. You should run a speed check - checking both the speed and latency. You shouldn`t operate from a basis of "this is a terrible service, why can`t they provide a decent service?!" right from the start.

Had a drop out during first half but think it was more due to the apartment`s broadband here in Tenerife!🌞🥃🍻
