3. Author: wee eck Date: Sun 27th Apr 2025. 11:58 According to the match report on COWS - `Dunfermline’s home season concluded with their attendances at league games surpassing 100,000 for the first time in 18 seasons`. Remarkable really considering the season we`ve had but four derbies against Falkirk and Raith obviously helped as did the initiative to reduce prices for the recent Hamilton game. ETA - We were relegated from the Premier League in 2006/07 so would have the benefit of bigger away supports that season. Post Edited (Sun 27 Apr 12:16) Reply |

6. Author: Buster_Brown Date: Sun 27th Apr 2025. 16:31 As has been said, it’s pretty remarkable when you consider the season and how poor we have been. I doubt many other teams, in the league, could say this after having similar seasons. Bannockburn Par, Sun 27 Apr 12:14 Absolutely. I’ve said it before, but if we can get the team on the park and market it correctly, we can build a bigger support than we currently have. 100%. Everyone needs to play their part though General Zod, Sun 27 Apr 12:41 Fantastic, I hope you’re not the only one! Reply |
7. Author: neils Date: Sun 27th Apr 2025. 16:37 It`s absolutely fantastic how our crowds have been so high, the last time we were in the Prem pretty sure we averaged just under 5k (minus Sevco if I remember) to get just under 6k a game at this level is astonishing. I always assumed we had a cap, 6k max if we are doing well, more or less the same as Motherwell, St Mirren etc. Makes me wonder now how far we can go. Reply |
8. Author: parsfan Date: Sun 27th Apr 2025. 17:11 This isn`t the crowd though, it`s the declared attendance so can`t really compare with more than a few seasons ago. When we were last in the premier we weren`t counting people who weren`t there. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The universe is ruled by chance and indifference ![]() Reply |

We finished bottom the year they went bust and probably should have had a reprieve but instead they let Dundee come up as they`d finished 2nd in the First Division as the Championship was known at the time. 13. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Tue 29th Apr 2025. 12:41 This is the time to entice new fans and fans that stopped going because they were tired of watching rubbish football or other reasons. Make us the cheapest team to watch by knocking a few quid off. Offer mini season tickets where you pay for 5 games and get 1 free. Have more competitions other than the 50/50. I`m assuming all walk up tickets have a number on them so how about a lottery. 10 random ticket numbers, season and walk up get a free ticket to the next home game.
