No, I believe Joe Cardle is now involved with Hibs Academy but the Joe Cardle Academy is a separate set up all together.

I`ve said for ages we should have been looking at bring Joe Cardle and Stevie Crawford in to The Pars set up

neither would accept but Id add Andy Bruce as well, the work he does with Fife football fitness is incredible. J10 also as a local independent coach who is bringing a huge amount of talent through individualy or working with teams for group sessions.

Some of the figures ive seen JC academy generating from summer/school holiday camps, there is no way he would be giving that up.

Sorry but that’s just not true. Cardle had talks with the club twice about getting involved in the youth setup and got knocked back both times. No idea if Crawford`s put his name forward, but wouldn’t be shocked if he got the same treatment.

Thing is, Crawford’s academy is still a few years behind what Cardle’s already built. Joe’s even brought in coaches so he could take on the Hibs role.

There was nothing stopping him doing that at the Pars other than the club not being interested at the time. And this was before Lanzarote John got approached.

c'mon the pars

Absolute nonsense. Set out cones and tell kids to run. No coaching at all but claims to every trophy won by a player who has attended. Absolute weapon of a man

My son used to attend the JC Academy and this is complete nonsense. They do a great job of running the kids through drills but make it fun. Can`t comment on the older sessions but I would regularly see JC doing 1 on 1 sessions and those looked very thorough.

Jake I think the guy is having a go at the Fife Football Fitness coach.
Folk have opinions but Andy at Fife Football got my son running faster and stronger when he attended for 4 years and most important he enjoyed the fitness sessions.
I think Fife is lucky to have the JC academy, Lewis Black, Box Soccer and Pars Foundation etc.

Mon the Pars!

Lewis was with JC when my son was there. Hard to tell with a bunch of 5/6 year olds but he interacted well with them.

No comment on tanning 😂

Lewis a good lad, bit of a numpty but overall a decent lad, think he went through a period of just copying any look jojo had, and they had a falling out, but hes a good lad, and probably has the ability to play at a reasonable level tbh

We can look forward to a generation of young players who dribble with their head down directly towards the corner flag before hitting a gentle cross off the first defender :)

A little harsh perhaps, good luck to him, past his best by the time he arrived here but couldn`t fault his effort and he had some decent performances when he wasn`t injured.

…..be interesting to see how many penalty’s are awarded in youth football in the coming years? JC was renowned for his Oscar winning antics in the opposition box!

In his defence his goal against Hearts at Tynecastle was sublime.

“.........it ain’t over till the Pars score!”
