83. Author: StackPar Date: Sun 20th Jul 2025. 08:52 Nails it - the standard of Stephen’s bridie has been miles off it for over a decade and it’s living of past ‘glory’. Was time for a change which the club have dealt with. Reply |

And yes, think Stephens hasn`t been good for a few years I get that the ovens at EEP are out of date, but hope for more variety this season. Don`t want a vast choice though, it`s a game of football, and speed is of the essence. I remember we did it in house for a bit, and it was unworkable as it took forever. Reply |

I said "I think", not, "I know", and I was quick to right the wrong. You really have a problem with me, don`t you? I"ve been told by other posters I should feel honoured to have my own stalker. 86. Author: jake89 Date: Mon 21st Jul 2025. 12:11 "Unsubstantial" relates.more to the meat content of a Stephens bridie! The rumour about them using the day befores stock isn`t true though. It all gets chucked. Reply |

Author: Dave_1885 Date: Mon 21st Jul 2025. 18:45 Little bit disappointed ad thought they would bring something slightly different to the table - burgers, hot dogs, chips etc. but willing to give it a try and see if the quality is better. Wonder if they also provide drinks for young kids too (4 year old) as only fizzy juice isn’t an option for that age. Reply |

92. Author: LEGEND85 Date: Mon 21st Jul 2025. 19:45 Could it just be timing they`ve not been in the door very long and how much of a factor is it selling beer if they have limited space. Reply |

Author: Buster_Brown Date: Mon 21st Jul 2025. 19:47 Definitely get the impression from the article that it’s much of a muchness. https://dafc.co.uk/food-kiosks-update/?fbclid=IwQ0xDSwLrU8JjbGNrAutTvmV4dG4DYWVtAjExAAEekp4jeAgF8DR9ceKA3RoVedKOLq9nR9afG4-kUWmvXIpT9mkcJwMoPkwn6c8_aem_yOpQ2VowkCLtyTzFoCYdEA Reply |
94. Author: Berry Date: Mon 21st Jul 2025. 20:05 Yeah disappointed but see what happens. Irn Bru was always on the menu with Stephen’s but as flat as a pancake as they poured it out in cups ready to hand out - so that’s certainly not new. I was hoping for burgers, hot dogs etc as well. I reckon it’s probably more the facilities available that are restricting it. Reply |
95. Author: AdamAntsParsStripe Date: Mon 21st Jul 2025. 20:07 Most of my reasoning for a change was because of a lack of variety. This menu is just more of the same and probably more expensive. I hoping it’s just due to not upgrading facilities in the kiosks but at the moment not impressed with what I’ve read. Zwei Pints Bier und ein Päckchen Chips bitte ![]() Reply |
96. Author: Raymie the Legend Date: Mon 21st Jul 2025. 20:25 Some pizza would have been a good option. Like most, initially doesn’t inspire. PS - is the kebab pie not a Stephen’s creation? ![]() It`s bloody tough being a legend Ron Atkinson - 1983 Reply |
97. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Mon 21st Jul 2025. 20:52 Raymie the Legend, Mon 21 Jul 20:25 I think it was a Stuarts creation in this area first off. Prices will most certainly be higher, with it being a catering company and not a local bakers. Reply |
98. Author: Par Date: Mon 21st Jul 2025. 21:01 Was always going to be limited, but hopefully the quality will be better. Would like to see pizza, similar to Easter Road possibly stovies amongst other but perhaps the fare will grow once the new caterers find their feet. Reply |
