2. Author: Ahoy!Ahoy! Date: Thu 24th Jul 2025. 08:13 He seems highly rated and United fans seem to think he was the only option to become new captain. Unfortunately he’s now been ruled out of the first 3 months of the season with a hamstring injury. Reply |

5. Author: Never10yairds Date: Thu 24th Jul 2025. 09:26 He was with us at a time we were an utter shambles and managed by the worst manager I’ve ever seen at the club, Peter Grant. It is no wonder it didn’t work out for him here. Had he came in under a competent manager he might have faired better. Reply |
6. Author: Raymie the Legend Date: Thu 24th Jul 2025. 10:47 He was young and fairly raw and playing in a struggling team. Not many players would thrive in that situation. ![]() It`s bloody tough being a legend Ron Atkinson - 1983 Reply |

9. Author: Bamba-Daft Date: Thu 24th Jul 2025. 17:50 He was about 18 years old and Peter grant was insisting the keeper gave him the ball inside his own 6 yard box 4-0 down to rangers. He’s done very well since leaving us and if he kicks on this year he’s a certainty for a Scotland call up. Reply |
10. Author: DBA Date: Thu 24th Jul 2025. 18:53 Graham put in one of the worst performances I`ve seen from a centre half away at Ayr. Was obviously a young lad and has come on leaps and bounds since. Fair play to him. Reply |
11. Author: AlterPar Date: Thu 24th Jul 2025. 19:38 Aye I don’t really understand the persistence of some. Similar to mentioning the late Sols performance vs Hamilton. Folks can’t move on! Wouldn’t be surprised to see him in a Scotland squad at some stage. Reply |
12. Author: Bandy Date: Fri 25th Jul 2025. 09:31 Big Sol`s performance against Hamilton was mostly because he was one of the only players trying that day. Reply |
