Both Celtic and Rangers will drop points over the course of the season, but not as many as the other 10, so they`ll finish 1st and 2nd, respectively. Some pundits on the BBC were tipping Rangers to beat Celtic at the weekend, ahead of last night`s game. Not on that evidence. Celtic are poor, but Rangers are awful. They`ll do well to pick up another domestic draw if Martin is still the manager then.  Not your average Sunday League player. Reply |

Not even during John Greig’s tenure where they were dreadful in the league, they still managed to get on into the European competitions. This is just embarrassing. Reply |

Listening to Billy Dodds on the BBC this morning, he mentioned that Barry Ferguson’s proposal to the board for this season was exactly the same thing, to have a strong core of Scottish players. What makes it even more infuriating is how many young players they hoover up at grassroots level, knowing full well that less than 1% of them will never get a real chance. Reply |
