26. Author: veteraneastender Date: Tue 26th Aug 2025. 21:41 He`ll be keen to tell new board members of the little known fact that he scored the winning goal for the Pars at Ibrox, a couple of weeks before Rangers won the ECWC............not a lot of people know that !!! Reply |
27. Author: GG Riva Date: Wed 27th Aug 2025. 07:39 I`m delighted for Jim. He`ll be so proud. I`ve known him since he was a slimline 17 year old, captain of Dunfermline United U-18s. A talented player, whose career was tragically cut short by a horrific leg break, a brilliant manager who led the Pars from 5th bottom of the basement league to the top flight with little or no budget, a director of the club and now Chairman. Jim`s elevation will be good for the club. His enthusiasm and infectious personality will give the Pars a higher profile and will further garner publicity from the media, just like the appointment of Neil Lennon did. I`m a bit surprised he`s not automatically on the Board. Does that mean he has no say in any future decisions the BoD make? I suppose that there`s nothing to stop them consulting him to get his thoughts, of course. ![]() Not your average Sunday League player. Reply |
