1. Author: wee eck Date: Fri 29th Aug 2025. 18:40 Dunfermline Athletic are willing to let Matty Todd leave before the close of the window. The midfielder is in the final year of his East End Park contract. Todd has slipped down the pecking order, as Neil Lennon’s Pars have gone for a more youthful approach. The 24-year-old is looking to get his career back and firing. A number of English and Scottish teams are monitoring his situation closely. Todd came through the Pars’ youth ranks and is looking to get back to the sort of level where he was hitting double figures for the Fifers from the middle of the park. Reply |

7. Author: GJS93 Date: Fri 29th Aug 2025. 19:05 hasnt started a game this season and with potentially 5 players ahead of him in that attacking midfielder role, not a surprise he might go. its more the where and how, a year left on his contract, would think it will be a permanent deal for a fee? 8. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Fri 29th Aug 2025. 19:36 Not surprising. Not done enough recently and heading down the same route as McCann of 1 good game every 6/7. Effort and running only gets you so far. Reply |
9. Author: AlterPar Date: Fri 29th Aug 2025. 19:44 He has been off it for a bit. Though I’d have him over TOB as I’ve still not seen anything from him. Will trust Lennon with this one! Reply |
10. Author: Ahoy!Ahoy! Date: Fri 29th Aug 2025. 19:55 Lennon obviously doesn’t fancy him. Had a cracking season in League One win, but moments have been few and far between in Championship. Injuries obviously didn’t help so this comes as no surprise. He’ll move on with best wishes. Reply |

13. Author: neils Date: Fri 29th Aug 2025. 20:14 A shame, but for the sake of his own career, probably needs a fresh start. Thought it was a big year for him, turns out it will be! Good luck, hope he gets a decent club in for him (but not this league) Reply |

The poor guy has had some horrendous injuries over last 3 seasons . I would retain him but if he leaves I wish him the very best. Reply |

Hope so, I think he easily could play a higher level if all the ducks line up for him. Hee done well for us, but like Lewis McCann, time for a fresh start Reply |
18. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Fri 29th Aug 2025. 20:36 wetherby, Fri 29 Aug 20:29 I agree that his attitude cant be questioned. Like others that have come through from youth level over the years, their passion shines through. Ability and/or consistency is the thing that is lacking I’d say. Reply |

Author: Indiapar1 Date: Fri 29th Aug 2025. 20:42 Hopefully no players read this forum, but if the do what I would say is that it doesn`t matter what people think of you it matters what you think of yourself. If other people dont believe in you, as long as you believe in yourself, you will succeed. A move and fresh challenge may do him some good. I wish him well and thank him for his contribution to the football club. G Wardrope Reply |
