It looks like Terrell may have got a fingertip to McAlear`s free kick but should he have gone for it with his left hand rather than his right?

Andrew Tod showed great persistence in setting himself up for that shot for his goal and probably deserved the help of a deflection to beat the keeper.

I think Terrell did well to get to it but he’s young and like the team growing into his game. Going with his left hand would have been monumental physically and to be fair it was a great free kick. I think he probably needs to build a bit of muscle on his frame but has all the signs of becoming a top class keeper.

Disappointed the incident that actually caused the free kick wasn`t included.

I was convinced there was no contact and McAlear had gone down holding his head to get an opponent carded.

You are correct Jeffery, there was no contact with the head and minimal, if any, with the upper torso. However, it was high feet and Gilmour gave the ref no option but to give the free kick. But it was avoidable

Will he save it? Save it??? He never bloody saw it! Like a bullet!

I too thought there as no contact on the one look I had. And it does make a difference - if there was no contact then the right decision would have been an indirect free kick only but if there was contact, the decision was correct. The keeper got a touch on the shot, but if it was given as indirect, he probably doesn`t shoot and the keeper probably doesn`t try to save it.

However, even if I was right and the ref was wrong, that was one where he can be wrong without it being a terrible decision - what he gave was understandable. It certainly wasn`t the worst decision he gave against us.

St J co-commentator needs to get a grip with his screaming - heard him during the match and on our highlights.
Appreciate that the boys will be fans too, but they are on the TV gantry, a measure of decorum should be followed…

My thoughts are just as Socks says, I expected it to be indirect.

I realise you can`t include everything (or it wouldn`t be `highlights`!) but I think if a throw, free kick or corner results in a goal then it would be nice to see how that set play came to be.

I was really pleased to see the highlights caught the celebrations at the end so well and that other angles have come out today. Just brilliant!

How weird it is that the interviewer on Pars TV persists in asking a question that the player/manager being interviewed has already just answered? Happens every week. 🤦‍♂️

Shame that neither Pars TV nor Saints TV chose to show Robbie Fraser’s first half tackle on the touch line. Moment of magic from my MOM.

Is there a restriction on the length of highlights?

Just seems that many talking points are missed.

Agree it would be nice to see again. It was a cracking tackle.

It was almost directly under the gantry so I could understand if it hadn`t been caught on camera.

SPFL rules state they shouldn’t be over 10 mins 59 secs. We have gone over that.
Regarding the Gilmour challlemge, it is a foul every day of the week and a yellow. His foot was high and even if he missed the opponent, it couldn’t have been by much and was dangerous.
