I have to say I have been disappointed with his contribution so far us, this season. He`s anonymous in games. He should be tearing that league up, on paper. I hope to see much more from him

I think we need to be patient with him. I have no doubts there is a player in there but I imagine football at this level might be difficult for some players to adjust to. He’s not even been in the UK a year yet and has hardly played any football. If Lennon is good at anything, it’s having an eye for a player. He’ll come good.

Give the gay a chance. He’s young, still learning his trade, living in an unfamiliar country miles away from home, friends and family. I know folk in their late 40’s that struggle with that. He’s definitely got some talent and I’m certain our coaches can help him adapt to Scottish football. I’m sure by the end of the season he will have scored, he’s been close on a few occasions and he already has a few assists to his name.

This is a hard league for a skillful less physical player.

He’ll be targeted and doubled up on etc and generally in this league you get very little time on the ball. So long as there’s intelligent movement around him he’ll find passes and pockets of space though.

With the pitches starting to rip up and his first Scottish winter I think he’ll be in and out of the team in the next few months but we’ll need him to try and unlock defences.

He will come good. He has the talent to tear teams apart, we’ve only scratched the surface with him.

I`m not disappointed at all, shown a bit of something and always assumed he`d take time to adjust.

I don`t wanna go down like disco.

What assists has he had? Genuinely didn’t think he had any

I don’t think anyone is on his back yet. He’s a likeable player, I think it’s more frustration that everyone is desperate for him to tear teams apart and he’s not quite there yet. You’ll see it when him or Amade score their first goal.

Arbroath and St Johnstone away, apparently.

Didn`t he provide the passes for Macleod`s goal at Perth and Tod`s first goal at Arbroath? He was also involved in the first goal at Airdrie where he kept the move going down the right wing with a perfectly weighted pass to Bray before he crossed for A Tod to score.

The frustrating thing for me is we don`t get him involved enough. Amade has been a disappointment by comparison. I can`t remember him making a `killer` pass and he often gives the ball away when under little pressure.

I think Caceres has done alright and suspect he will only get better. I think the entire team is on a journey of improvement and we will all enjoy enjoy watching them grow.

I agree i think he needs to show a bit more than what he has recently but hes clearly a player. He ghosted a bit yesterday but I wasn’t convinced he was playing the right position.

I think it will take him time to adapt but i think his role over the season will be the one to unlock games when we are the dominant team breaking down opponents rather than closely matched games like yesterday, but hopefully that will come.

Theres been a good few times where i think hes been on a different wavelength at times to his teammates but arbroath away showed when they click they click

I was very disappointed in his red card against partick, i felt that not only costs us that game but the queens park game as well. I am pretty confident caceres would have contributed to a goal in that game where we camped them in their own half.

I am looking forward to him playing at Firhill. There is a score to settle with that lot from his “attention” from the first game.

He`s adjusting to playing centrally, believe he normally plays as a winger? Also adjusting to the Scottish game as well, the Thistle game was an important lesson. He was great up at Arbroath, found lots of space between their defence and midfield and caused havoc. He hasn`t hit those heights in other games. I agree that he should be an asset trying to unlock a tight defence. He is showing flashes in other games, but he needs to do more. The one thing that surprises me is he isn`t that direct for a winger (maybe he isn`t), he doesn`t dribble as much as I`d expect, shooting isn`t to special either. A goal will probably boost his confidence as well, pretty sure there is more to come, if not then Macleod and Bray will be knocking on the door.

Yesterday`s game pars struggled at times to link midfield to a forward player. Not many passes going to Tod or the Peruvian to create something or at least hold play in final third when they were in acres of space.

J.Tod (40m), A.Tod (43m). 2 - 0

This. For me, Caceres is a creative player, not a ball winner. For long spells in yesterday`s game, Saints bossed the midfield. Our players stood off and gave them too much respect. I daresay Hamilton in midfield from the start would have been good for Jefferson and the whole team. Hammy doesn`t hold back and when he wins the ball he looks to give it to our more attacking players.

Not your average Sunday League player.

Agree GG we have them far too much space midfield. Little opportunity to create something for Caceres. We played long alot which doesn`t suit him. We have yet to see the best from him, which is understandable as he is still settling in at the club. He`s a long way from home different football style etc. It`s in there so I expect him to improve
