He`s only had 1 England cap and would add some much needed quality on the wing as well as being a goal threat. I`d be up for it but can see Clarke sticking with the squad that got us there. Pars fan. We had maybe the weakest top seed, Greece clearly soft underbelly and a manager who knows how to qualify. He is 26/27 and never getting near the England first 11 and will be too old by the next one. Should`ve taken a punt and made himself available at the start of the year. For me, its too late now for him. Yes he would improve us but we have to have some principals. Reply |

We’ll find out soon enough, I do take these rumours with a pinch of salt (Italian based Argentinian Strikers anyone?) but the original poster does have previous on this, that’s been right.
