Brilliant team of locals Harry Redknapp, Frank Lampard Senior, Bobby Moore etc Upton Park was a great ground for watching football . Billy Bonds was a blood and guts sort of player. One of the best. In my teens, during the Middle Ages, I got on the London tube line to go see The Hammers and got off at Upton Park - the only passenger to do so !!! The appropriate one for the Boleyn Ground was two stops further up !!! DOH !!! Reply |
