They are rumoured to have had over 80 applicants, and that’s who they end up with. Seems a bit of a backward step from them.

I don’t think we have anything to fear on Saturday.

6 months contract apparently, so I guess they won`t have to pay to much, just in case they get another manager in before the end of season.

I think there problem is they don`t have any overall strategy, just hire and fire and let the managers recruit.

County have been throwing money at it for years but I suppose that’s what happens when you have a rich sugar daddy as an owner a wee spell in league 1 might give them the shake they need

If I was a Ross County fan would be totally uninspired by a Kettlewell appointment!

His recent record is terrible and he sounds a right wet blanket. Hard to imagine him inspiring a team team devoid of confidence.

It must be a tough gig logistically/family wise being a football manager. One day you are managing in Kilmarnock and a few weeks later in Dingwall, the best part of 4 hours north.

The `until the end of the season` probably suits both parties.

…..and yet plenty of Pars fans were championing him as a replacement for McPake and subsequently Tidser.

That`s because his record at Ross County and Motherwell was pretty good.
