The referee was Willie Anderson who officiated the Hearts v Dunfermline 1968 cup final. A Celtic fan I knew gave us a welcoming 2 finger Churchill salute as we arrived at kick off - later I returned the compliment as we made for the exits - immediately followed with the wholly appropriate finger and thumb zero sign.
