I believe they are in process of a takeover. Someone associated with Brentford.

Yeah, there’s been a bit of goading on P&B about this over the past few months….in the Harry Enfield “I’m considerably richer than you” way.

Apparently money people behind Brentford are in talks to buy the club, with the promise of substantial investment. Time will tell, but this news would suggest there’s something in it.

If true, Benham owns both Brentford and FC Midtjylland and has used his own data analytics, it would seem, to build them up. He was pals with Tony Bloom in the early noughties until they fell out before he set up a gambling analytics business for pro gamblers.

Along with Bord that will be 3 analytics owners invested in Scottish football, along with all being involved deeply in pro gambling of some sort.

Yep, unfortunately the other two, Benham and Bloom seem to have a pretty good system for identifying the signings, ours have yet to produce much

I’d say it’s pretty hard to compare our system to that of Brentford and Brightons, considering we are fishing in hugely different ponds.

What would be interesting though is to see it working in the top league here, like Blooms is at Hearts currently.

Bord`s system was tried, briefly, at Sheffield United.

I presume Abdulai didn`t arrive through a traditional scouting method, so did he come via Bord`s data analysis? Along with JCM I reckon he has been the most impressive signing we have made in years

Agree, also Amade before his international call ups interrupted a bit, now that he will hopefully get a clearer run of games, I think we will see him taking off

Cacares was good too before his red card, since then he`s clearly struggling, it can be very tough relocating to a foreign country, especially if you are not great at the language.

We’ve obviously gone a little off topic, but I would love for someone on ParsTV to ask Lennon on an update about where the Management Team are with Cacares.

Pars TV are employed by DAFC so they’re not going to ask questions that may be awkward for management to answer.
