Last week when the Peterhead game was off they sent out a message on social media inviting locals down to the club for discounted meals as hospitality couldn’t go ahead as usual and encouraged people to come in for the rugby - apparently it was packed and a very profitable afternoon

Club doesn’t have any control over hospitality as franchised it away to Thomas Franks. Food and staff are theirs.

Maybe Lennon should’ve given his half time team talk to it.

Refund required for the covers. Clearly don’t work

Must be only club in UK that has covers and USH and has games postponed.

Remote controlled rollers that move up and down the pitch all night won’t allow the frost to build on the pitch. Quite cheap and cost very little to operate….

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Scott Brown’s reaction to the late call off at Arbroath will be interesting !!!

Unless there have been some extraordinary circumstances Arbroath have some searching questions to answer.

Yes because the weather conditions are EXACTLY the same at every ground in Scotland...

Ayr have made representation to the SPFL over the call off, and rightly so anyone who has seen the video will know the game was never going to be on and a pitch inspection should have been called first thing in the morning.

This isn`t a 50/50 decision on a thawing pitch that the club hoped would be playable come KO and they`ve unluckily ended up just the wrong side of a referees opinion. It was rock hard with audible ice with people sliding on it.

I don`t think much will happen against Arbroath, but they will certainly be warned of consequences if there`s a repeat

All clubs don`t address their local conditions exactly the same.

There was a time this wouldn’t have been an issue to play the game.
Players studs would have broken up the frozen area as the game went on.
Imagine if the Valencia game was played today!
