In my opinion, have to play the physically strongest team tonight.

4-4-2 Diamond

GK - Does it matter?

RB - JCM
CB - Abudlai
CB - Bene
LB - Kieran N

RM - Matty Todd
CDM - Gilmour
CAM - Andy Tod
LM - Fraser

ST - Kane
ST - Olly Thomas

I think Turley should keep his place, he played well on Saturday until he obviously started to tire.

I’d like to see something along the line of

GK-Mehmet

RB-Mullen
CB-Abdulai
CB-Ngwenya
LB-Fraser

CM-Turley
CM-Gilmour
CM-Todd

RW-A.Tod
LW-Cooper

ST-Thomas/Kane

Totally agree with the GK - Does it matter lol

I`d change it slightly to this:

GK - Does it matter?

RB - Fraser
CB - JCM
CB - Bene (c)
LB - Kieran N

RM - Morrison
CM - Gilmour
CM - Turley
LM - Cooper

ST - Kane
ST - Olly Thomas

With no Hamilton?

Given the antics of Partick, I’d rather have him in the middle

I know why folk are saying Bene for experience and leadership etc….but I don’t think we’ll be seeing him feature much, if at all again in a Pars shirt.

He’s been fantastic for us prior to his injuries and he’s never been the same since.

Cooper maybe deserves a start tonight, possibly at Morrison`s expense?

Oxborough will be straight into the starting line up tonight and for the remainder of the season.

Exactly what we’ve been crying out for.

Can you imagine we bring in another striker too.

Let`s not get too excited about the new keeper just yet, remember in our last SPL season we brought in Turner to replace Chris Smith and he ended up being just as bad!

Actually that`s too far, no one was as bad as Chris Smith

Didn`t Turner get injured not long after he arrived? we had a nightmare with goalies that season. Smith was probably the worst keeper I`ve seen here.

Aye he did, I think his first game was a crunch match against Hibs, he let the shot go right through him for the winner. Missed a routine save for the first goal in a game against Motherwell that we lost 3-1 despite having a man advantage for about 80 mins...

He got injured soon after that and was never seen again.

If I remember right Chris Smith also broke some kind of clean sheet record the year we won the Championship, so he`s similar to Mehmet in more ways than one.

Although Chris Smith makes Mehmet look like Dino Zoff.

Anyway, sounds like the new goalie did well in the SPL last season before he got injured so fingers crossed, sounds decent.
