The SPFL has today announced the match details for the 2025/26 KDM Evolution Trophy final between Raith Rovers and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

This season’s final will be played at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill on Sunday April 5 and will be shown live on BBC ALBA, kick-off 4.10pm.

Easter Sunday ,no trains up north by the time the final finishes. Beggars belief that they SPFL think Glasgow is a good place for the final.

Yet another mental, incompetent decision by the authorities……..

Surely Perth would have been more suitable? Or even ours if the surface isn’t too bad!

St Johnstone didn’t want to host. Not shocked with the state of their pitch

Surely could have been in Perth, Dundee or even Falkirk? What a stupid choice of location.

I suppose it depends on which grounds are available that weekend. Some clubs might not fancy excessive usage of their pitch.

Under the rules of the competition it’s not allowed to be in a premiership stadium. Also St.Johnstone declined with their pitch situation, and we are at home that weekend. That’s why it’s got to be played somewhere else.

Has to be held at a stadium who’s team competed in the competition, for some weird reason.
