| 5. Author: BlackLight Date: Sat 28th Feb 2026. 17:16 A win in midweek with a loss for Ayr will basically guarantee us 4th place after 3/4 of the season. Ross County and Airdrie are tightening things up at the bottom though. A slump in form could see any of seven teams from 4th downwards get relegated. That`s bonkers. Reply |

I`ll bet that some of them have never been at a game this season. The season ticket holders and the away fans, are the real supporters Reply |
| 19. Author: Sacktheref69 Date: Sun 1st Mar 2026. 14:26 I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the Championship season in, season out is made up of 9 or 10 clubs who are consistently inconsistent. Anyone can beat anyone in this league. That’s the reality of it. Yes, we’ve had a poor run recently. No one can deny that. But a draw and a win in a few days and suddenly we’re sitting 4th. At one point the "Lennon out" bregade were shouting like we were in freefall, when in reality we were closer to 4th than 9th most of the time. The reaction from them felt completely kneejerk. The same people who when asked what the alternative would look like can’t actually give you an answer. We’ve been a work in progress since the season kicked off and that hasn’t changed. What hasn’t changed either is that we have a chairman and a manager aligned in what they’re trying to do. Lennon brings knowledge, experience and a presence and I can see that counting in this division. When Bord and Co came in, they were clear, no reckless throwing money at the transfer market. And they’ve stuck to that. But let’s not pretend nothing’s improved either, there’s been investment on the playing surface and commercially things are clearly moving forward now under the right people. That matters long term. Right now, we’re in the mix. I know whose position I’d rather be in at this stage, ours and not Ross County or the Rovers. This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it. Reply |
