I`m the same FP.

Not expecting the club to cover the cost but it would be good if they could support the organisation?

I`ve had quite a few parents at my sons school say to me they are looking to go with their kids but I wouldn`t know where to start organising a bus!

I’ve heard they are putting buses on and will be announced this week. Imagine they are waiting to hear back from the SFA on ticket release dates etc.

PST put a post on FB the other day regarding buses. I sent them a email yesterday and was able to book 3x seats on a bus leaving EEP 8.45am sharp. Hope this helps.

"I’ve heard they are putting buses on and will be announced this week. Imagine they are waiting to hear back from the SFA on ticket release dates etc."

even telling people they are planning to would be progress nothing was mentioned in the initial update to say club would be organising buses. Have also seen from some social media people are arranging bus pick-ups at EEP. If club are also planning a load of coaches can imagine this then becomes a logistical nightmare with random buses mixed in between official club buses

Does anyone know who we should contact as Andrew is out until the 15th? A bit tight for supporters bus leads who need to liaise with the club on this game.

Replying to my own post. Andrew replied that a Pre Ops meeting the week before will be held. So all questions from worriers like me will be answered then. Thanks Andrew!

https://dafc.co.uk/semi-final-update-2/

buses confirmed but dont contact the club

Dunfermline Athletic can confirm that we have received an initial ticket allocation of approximately 9,000 from the Scottish FA, with scope for this number to increase.

Supporters will be housed in the western side of Hampden Park and should demand require it, additional seating will be made available.

We continue to be in dialogue with the SFA and hope to be able to announce further ticketing and operational details shortly.

The club has also secured a small number of supporter buses for the fixture. Full details on how to book transport will be released when ticket sales are live. No seats will be held ahead of launch.

We kindly ask supporters to wait for further updates before getting in touch, as we will be in a better position to assist with any queries once additional details have been confirmed. Thank you for your understanding.

Is anybody travelling through from Kirkcaldy on the day? With it being an early start, public transport isn’t looking great!

Hi Alter Par, I organised a bus myself and have a waiting list of 5 from Glenrothes. I am sure there are other takers then if you can find someone to drive then organise your own bus. I am sure there will be others. There used to be a healthy support from the Weavers.

It would be good if after the Semi-final everyone running buses checks with the passengers if they would consider going on an organised bus for the following season.

Still miss Monty.
