I was just really impressed by the performance of a lot of the younger players last night and it got me wondering which players we have that might be suited to a bigger pitch. Transfermarkt says that the pitch at Hampden is 105m x 70m and that the pitch at EEP is 105m x 64m. The difference might not seem like much, but that`s 630 sqm of extra space for our players to work with. We have defenders like John Tod, Kieran, JCM (if fit) and Abdulai (if not in midfield) that are very comfortable to take the ball forwards into space. We have fast players in wide positions like Fraser and Kearney and Bray who should come into their own when it`s harder for Falkirk to close them down. Up front Andrew Tod is great at getting into unmarked spaces, Morrison loves to get the ball down and run at people and Lucas Fyfe looks like he`s comfortable on the move. Which of our players will make the most of the bigger pitch and does it factor into NL`s game plan? Reply |

Oxborough Todd Abdulai Tod Ngwenya Fraser Gilmour Amade Hamilton Kane Morrison That’s how I’d go. Hamilton to add a bit of cover when Todd and Fraser push on. Then get Fyfe on with 25 to go to score the winner. Reply |
