Lol But this will be the 3rd final out of the 4 that it will be, you could say, a club legends last game for Celtic. Larssons in 2004, Lennons 2007 and now MartinO`Neils last game to manage. And funny enough its against Lennon who is now our manager. Crazy really. Will it be 4th lucky? Or will the Celtic Legend get his perfect send off? All I know is, i`m already bricking it. Terrible game - Burchill missed a great chance early doors, Adam Hamill did Lennon with a great bit of skill that ended up costing Pressley a booking, and John-Joel Perrier Doumbe scored a fluky winner - the ONLY goal he ever scored in his career. Author: parsmad68 Date: Tue 21st Apr 2026. 10:18 The benefit we have is Celtic know nothing of our team and will need to do lots of homework before the final, but they will have limited time to do this as our squad will not likely be the same until the first play off (assuming we get there). No 4 games a season to get used to our players. Will their eyes be on the World Cup? Assuming they have any players going? It really is only a matter of a couple of weeks after the Cup Final and players going will be in the USA. Reply |

More recent finals have seen me there with my sons, hopefully this final will be with grandkids, though 2 of my granddaughters play for Raith ladies!😡 Reply |
