And yet we have thousands who think they should be entitled to a Cup Final ticket…

This 100%.

Fair enough, there`s always going to be a few who watch from afar, and genuinely can`t make it for a number of reasons. But if everyone around the town who is suddenly a lifelong Pars fan now we`ve made the final, and assumes they deserve a ticket to Hampden, put a bit of coin behind the turnstile tomorrow, that would be nice

Apologies for working nightshift tomorrow night…..if it’s ok with you, can I attend the Cup Final where Im already off work? Only been a Pars fan for 20 plus years mind you, but must be a day tripper……

NHS worker in Dundee. Booked the final off before the Semi, playoff quarter finals are just not a priority for me to use AL to book off

It’s a bit daft comparing a one off game with a Saturday 3pm kick off to a play off game with a 7:45pm kick off on a Tuesday night.

I’m on holiday from Wednesday and will be there tomorrow. When the club makes a goodwill gesture with pricing, I’ll always make an effort to be there.

Some Pars fans might already be on holiday or have work commitments. Let’s stop bashing our own supporters. If you can go, great then get along. If not, it is what it is. There will hopefully be a good support there tomorrow. I’m looking forward to the game.

If you build it, they will come.

This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Seriously, you can`t read and interpret 2 separate posts that are clearly not aimed at the 99% of fans on this board?
Nobody is talking about you, or any of the other actual Pars fans. These comments are aimed at the folk who have never been to EEP before, and likely never will again.
Fair enough, let them enjoy the glory of the cup final, but anyone is saying is that it would be nice if they bought a ticket for the playoffs as well, considering that money goes directly to the club.
Nobody is suggesting anyone should be stopped from attending Hampden, or that anyone doesn`t deserve to go, or that anyone sarcastically needs to ask permission, but surely it`s not too much to suggest that it would be nice if the "part time" fans took advantage of the cheaper tickets and turned up tomorrow, filled the stands and showed support now as well as the 23rd?

Keep rereading the above post, you`ll relise eventually that I`m not talking about folk who regularly, or occasionally, follow the Pars. Is it too much to suggest the city gets behind the club now, in the playoffs, instead of waiting for the final?

Would expect a crowd of around 4000.

I suspect there may be a few ST holders who buy a season ticket to support the club financially but are unable to attend regularly. They are included in the announced attendance for League games but if they can`t attend a one-off game like tomorrow`s the reported attendance suffers.

General sale only started this morning. 3k sold after the season ticket holder sale window apparently. Think we will shift a few tomorrow.

Aye, the game hasn`t taken place yet. If you want to complain about a poor attendance, at least let it happen first.

“General sale only started this morning”

It started Sunday morning but I would say it did only look like at most half of season tickets seats were bought

Half are owned by kids who rely on their parents.

I actually though today was Sunday until you pointed that out. Bank holiday confusing me.

Too sensible for this place. Sales picked up a wee bit for sure.

Not great considering the low price and EEP atmosphere wasn`t great considering what is at stake.

I was expecting an almost full jumping EEP when the prices were announced.

The midweek timing and the game being on TV wouldn’t have helped the attendance.

If the fixtures had been reversed and the second game had been at EEP there would have been a bigger crowd.

How many Pars fans will be there on Friday ?

Me and my son are heading up…

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Add in that season tickets no longer valid, so that’s 5k paying fans once again.
