On tender hooks until Monday morning! Bit of a **** show really from the club on how the allocation is being distributed.

Disagree completely. Club have handled in the fairest way they can. Other clubs issued full allocation to ST holders and no public sale. Our club haven’t done that and been mindful that there are fans who are regular attenders but can’t buy a season ticket. The response yesterday was great, but there are 9000 left for public sale which is more than enough.

If you`re averaging about 5000 home fans and you have 3000 season ticket holders you have to be careful about isolating 40% of your gate income.

I know a few supporters who like me work every 2nd Saturday, however it hasn`t stopped some of us being in Dingwall twice, down at Ayr, over to Greenock and up to Arbroath, they`ll have been to as many games as the majority of season ticket holders who only frequent East End Park (and yes I know some will travel but when there`s less than 500 at Dingwall and the club are opening up the Queens Park tickets to the general public the vast majority of season ticket holders are home supporters only).

Yes the season ticket holders back the club in the summer financially however the regular income and the presence at away games ought to hold some clout too.

Honestly, I can`t get my head round the 16 ticket allowance for STHs, seems steep to me, but I`m fairly certain that most of us aren`t buying 16 tickets each. I`d wager that 99% of STHs are only buying for their group of season ticket holders, or perhaps 1 or 2 extra. There will be plenty of tickets left come Monday.
I also have a suspicion that all of the rules/guidelines are not set by DAFC, but have been mandated for some reason by TPTB at SFA.
Further, it can`t be any surprise to anyone that STHs get first dibs?! This has pretty much always been the case, for every club, since the first ticket book was sold to the cave-fans. One of the benefits of being a season ticket holder is fast track access when it comes to ticketed games.
Being offered 16 tickets each is confusing, however it`s fairly irrelevant as most won`t buy anything like that amount, but being given early access is perfectly normal.
There absolutely will be plenty of tickets available come Monday morning, and if you are on this list of criteria, then you won`t have any issue getting your tickets.
I understand the nerves and anxiety, but come 3pm on 23rd we will all be happily inside Hampden without any drama, nobody is getting left outside who has shown any interest in the club over the last X amount of years.

^^ agree with all this except the last bit at 3pm on the 23rd is when the nerves and anxiety will start everyone hoping of just one special night

Not saying it’s impossible for CFC fans to have gotten their hands on tickets in our end already. But opening to season ticket fans initially and offering the multi ticket buy option is a great idea. Not everyone will know a season ticket holder but a lot will.

ST holder loyalty honoured and a decent way of attempting to restrict that mob from sneaking in our end.

Still more than 75% of the allocation left available that we were given for the semi. There really shouldn’t be that many, if any fans left ticketless.

Don’t think a single person begrudges season tickets getting priority. This has to be the case.

However the 16 tickets per ST holder is ludicrous.

I used to drive up from Newcastle for all home and away games, but these days living in Inverness and go to games as and when i can . So yes I’m in the database but no guarantee there will be any tickets left on Monday.

I am already aware of some season ticket holders buying 16 tickets with the majority for friends who support other teams but want a day out. This is why the 16 ticket limit is simply wrong.

Anyway if any of the season ticket holders fancy getting an ‘extra one’ for me DM me and we can sort out the money etc.

As a season ticket holder I agree 15 is far too large a number.

I understand season ticket holders may wish to bring friends/family along to accompany them and support the town - but they don’t need 15 to do that!

I also think that if you’re wanting to buy large numbers like that, you shouldn’t get the option to purchase huge swathes of the prime seats

Not sure why they decided on 16 tickets - very random number & if we DID all buy, there`s not enough tickets lol!

If it puts anyone`s mind at ease, my group could have bought over 100 tickets between us, but we settled for just the 8 we need.

Pretty sure everyone that wants a ticket will get one. COYP 🏁

Even the decision to have 5 days is over the top... 48 hours would be plenty time for season tickets holder to get what they want

For those saying there will be plenty of tickets for those waiting for general release, over 8,000 tickets already sold on day one per official site. Still another four days to for season tickets holders. Don’t think there will be many left!!!!

Most season ticket holder will have been poised and ready to get theirs yesterday, hence the sudden and large numbers sold already. A few more will go once folk get paid, but out of the 9000 left, I reckon there will be at least 7k available on Monday.
I hope the system is as smooth and seamless for the general sale as it was yesterday

It`s hard to be critical of the club as they`ve never really had to handle something of this scale in the modern era of online ticketing etc.

In an ideal world, there would be a system where season ticket holders could link accounts, so if there are a few of you wanting to go together, one can buy for all, without necessitating such a massive allowance for each person. But not sure the ticket system they`re using would allow that.

And then you can allow season ticket holders to buy maybe two or three extra, tops. A 48-hour window probably would have been better as well.

But I totally agree season ticket holders deserve priority, either way.

And despite a mild panic with how quickly 8,000 tickets went yesterday, I do think the rest of us will be fine on Monday. A huge majority of ST holders will have bought yesterday, so sales will be way slower the rest of this week.

I`m an ST holder but another ST holder is buying for me and four others so our allocations are not being taken up plus ten of his. I doubt many ST holders are using their full allocations.

There really no need to panic. As was said, vast majority of ST sales were done yesterday.
I do agree the ST window is too long though.
2 or 3 days max is more than enough and I do bear in mind many are paid on a Friday.

Agree 16 was too much but also as others have said most aren’t taking 16, I bought 14, 12 ST holders in that and they haven’t bought for others. Looked at site earlier and since yesterday there hasn’t been many more bought. Going to be at least 7k left come Monday if I was having a guess.
