A great initiative from the club. I`m sure a lot of us will be thinking about close ones no longer with us on Cup Final day

A lot may have changed since our last cup final in 2007, and we’re inviting fans to share photos of loved ones who are no longer with us but who will always be part of this club and our Pars family. These images will be placed in the dressing room on cup final day. A reminder that we carry every supporter with us when we wear the badge.

This means everything to me. Dad passed away nearly 2 years ago. He was a massive Pars fan like the rest of us. Got quite emotional reading this then submitting his photo.

I love this club of ours.

Sorry to hear about your Dad, da no 1 x

It’s lovely to be part of the Pars family.

I`ll be taking my dad`s scarf with me. He passed away 8 years ago today, so it`s been quite emotional since we qualified for the final. One thing he wanted was to see us win the cup with me, unfortunately that didn`t happen, when he was here. Hopefully it happens this time, with him up there cheering us on.

100%

I think every aspect of "be part of it" is absolutely spot on.

My dad passed two months ago. I feel the same. He’s the reason I’m such a big Pars fan.
I’m in Australia so can’t afford to come back again in such a short space of time but I’ll be wearing his top on the night of the final.

Likewise mate I lost my dad two years ago as well and going to games this season and the remainder of last season was quite tough but he’d have loved every single moment of this Season so as well as his photo being in the dressing room on cup final day he will be in the west stand with me as I will have a wee bag of his ashes in my pocket for luck

Up until 2 years ago my brother John, a lifelong Pars fan, season ticket holder in the North West, with a brick in his name in the Norrie, was at every game he could manage. But sadly now has dementia and hardly able to remember much at all. I`ll think much of him as I attend the final with my son and grandson. How much he would have enjoyed such an exciting end to the season.

Great idea.

The Old boy would have been there cheering on his beloved Pars and through his photo he gets another chance…………

You’ve seen the Pars now please go home!
