Just watched Motherwell manager interview and no mention of recall.

If Motherwell avoid defeat tomorrow they finish 4th qualifying for Europe. However if we then win the cup I think we`d pinch that off them. So I can understand why they might want to recall him to scupper our chances. Not sure if they`d be allowed to though?

Really, we want Hibs to win tomorrow then. Surely they can`t recall him for the Cup Final as well, if they have no game though? It does put him in a quandary if we win and that means his employers miss out on Europe

Would be an absolute disgrace, and really against sporting integrity, if they are allowed to recall him then leave him on the bench if they have other keepers in their overall squad.

I could understand if he was needed to play from the start, but anything else would be borderline disgraceful.

This chat is rancid. Cut it out, guys. If Ox is away or unavailable then life will no longer have any meaning.

Would they not have to prove they had an injury to an existing goalkeeper? Like last time. I don’t think they can just recall him ‘because’.

Mon the Pars!!!!!!!!!!!

Given they`ve no game after tomorrow, I don`t think they have any recourse to stop him playing in the cup final.

Whether we progress tonight or not has no implications for Motherwell, so if he was recalled, you would imagine it was for legit reasons.

Might look a bit suss if they recalled him before the cup final.

Also us not progressing tonight would be a morale drop going into the final.

There`s 5 teams qualify for Europe, so if Motherwell avoid defeat, the only benefit of us being defeated in the final is that they enter EC a round later? With Hibs taking the other EC place?

4th gets Europe guaranteed, 5th only does if Celtic win the cup. But as they don`t have a fame next weekend, I can`t see how they can use the emergency recall for the cup final anyway.

That`s the only change too, which means Abdulai hasn`t made it either.

If he doesn’t start tomorrow, or feature at all and we lose tonight, serious questions need to be asked about the recall “emergency recall” system.
