If Motherwell finish 4th there’s no way there gonna let Ox play in the Final and potentially kick Motherwell out of Europe next season. They’ll find a loophole to somehow terminate the loan. Reply |

Author: Dave_1885 Date: Sat 16th May 2026. 08:53 He’s on an emergency loan from us back to them….they cant recall him/terminate the loan after today’s game, he will be back for the cup final, unless of course he gets injured. But imagine Motherwell turned round to him tomorrow and said “we finished 5th so you aren’t going back to play the cup final incase you win it and punt us out of Europe” - the uproar from not only ourselves, but the player, his agent/lawyer, the PFA, pundits, commentators etc would be bigger than the last week in Scottish football! He’s back today as an emergency due to injury but it’s their last game of the season. He’s good to go next week barring an injury to himself.
