The blurb I read isn`t on the link I posted: 4AD has partnered with New York sportswear label Full Kit Wnkrs on a new World Cup-themed merchandise capsule. Released today, May 28th, the Complicated Opposition collection reimagines artwork and iconography from the label`s catalogue through football and terrace culture aesthetics. The range includes a Scotland jersey inspired by Cocteau Twins` 1990 album Heaven Or Las Vegas, alongside a USA-themed shirt referencing Scott Walker`s Bish Bosch. A third item, a scarf inspired by Colourbox and Air Miami`s football-themed tracks, accompanies the recently released Complicated Opposition double A-side single. The campaign also includes a donation to War Child, supporting children affected by conflict through education and advocacy initiatives.
