Saw him on TV recently with Andy Robertson and thought he looked unwell/Frail..

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

His statement is a reflection on Kenny and his dry humour that he is well known for. Get well soon Kenny, we are all with you. A real hero of ours from the terracing over the years.

All the best and hope you can beat this scourge on humanity?
As for Kevin, I hope he gets a decent amount of time to enjoy what’s left of his life?

With the advancement of treatment, such as immunotherapy, Stage 4 isn`t the death sentence that it used to be, believe me. Hoping both Kenny and Kev have many years left.

And it isn`t just the treatment that`s improving.

Things are being identified earlier. And while a diagnosis is clearly no less awful, catching it earlier married with more effective treatment is great steps forward.

For anybody interested in this topic, there is a recent episode of Radical on BBC Sounds that is quite interesting.

John Barnes has now just revealed he is battling Prostate cancer. What an awful couple of days.
