I expect a spike just before early bird period ends. Not much of a saving, but a saving nonetheless.

Really missed a trick as club not to get a few statement signings in to boost sales . We have made a fair bit cash of the cup run and signed no one of note . Really poor from the club .

Don’t think you can expect much ,when the manager is abroad with the squad. Things will come together, soon enough. We don’t want rushed signings.

Aye, all these star players are just sitting on the shelves in the football supermarket, available to whoever is prepared to pay the asking price. There`s no need to negotiate with the player, his agent or maybe even his club. It`s a cinch.

The missed trick in terms of marketing was not being able to keep the thousands who attended the cup final engaged in the quiet close season.

-More engagement on socials in terms of dates for strip launches ,when fixtures announced etc. Pitch maintenance, ground improvements etc.

-Maybe record some content during the regular season for use in the close season, " A Day in the Life of Mo Hutton" where his days work is portrayed for example, might have been a nice tribute to his time at the club.

-Some spotlights on the players who have been on loan, review their season, who might bridge the gap to the 1st team that sort of thing.

I think with little happening in the close season you probably have to pre-record a lot of the content, but the idea is to keep supporters engaged.
We know the hardcore support will turn up and renew but if you want to convert some of the 16,000 you can`t turn the switch off and turn it back on again and expect them to still be there.

Think you`re being EXTREMELY harsh.

The one thing that`s improved the most since the new owners arrived has been the SM team, especially in the run up to the cup final.

We’re talking about the off season engagement, I agree there was some great content in the run up to and on cup final day, the dressing room montage still resonates.

I haven’t renewed yet, and TBH the reason I haven’t ran out and picked up my new one by now is that I’ve used the physical card for as long as they’ve been around …and while it might seem petty, I’ve been put off by having to pay extra for it.

I know it’s only a fiver, but I’m really starting to rile against mobile phones and needing an app for everything (blame digital Id threats, hampden app for two games, etc) and made a decision that any company that forces me to go mobile, provide id unnecessarily or penalise me for not using mobiles is not one I’m going to do business with.
I’ve already cancelled many subscriptions (eg Xbox live, Microsoft365, discord, starling bank, and many more) and here’s Dunfermline doing the same.

Penalising people for not using digital, eg club shop selling Hampden tickets an hour after people using a computer so the best seats were all gone, paying extra for not using a mobile to get your ST has just left a bit of a sour taste for me - I pay £385 for a season ticket which I think is more than enough to get a physical card

I think the club said the reason was many physical tickets weren’t collected last season and it does cost to get them made.

I seriously hope you never ever get caught up in a situation where the location you are has a complete power cut or your phone is completely useless because your service provider is down.
It happens. Frequently.

That`s what they said, but that`s just an excuse. What they could have done, but chose not to, is let those who did pick them up continue to do so as before and only charge those who didn`t.
