I don`t think we should play friendlies on plastic pitches. It`s just asking for an injury.

Do we not train everyday on astro?

I’d ban plastic pitches totally. They should only be used for training.

Was it an error from Terrell at the corner Paralex?

Kane is out for a few weeks Fevs

Yeah I think he could have dealt better with the corner.

Just watched the goal, Terrell was shoved, little he could do about it.

What`s the difference between training Monday to Friday, which is acceptable, and playing 90 minutes on a Saturday, which is considered unacceptable?

The difference is that in training you don`t have knuckle dragging desperados who give you a two handed shove when you`re jumping for the ball and cause a season changing injury.

The foul on abdulai will happen several times every single match, and the plastic will have had very little to do with the injury.

In training you will get similar fouls too, there’s absolutely no chance you can all just place nice with each other and expect to be able to turn it on for the rough and tumble of a match.

Any sign of Connor Young?

Put it in my pre-match post mate, he wasn’t on the pitch or in the stand.

We`re down to the bare bones in defence now.

I know we have to be patient to get the right players in but I hope we don`t start the season with back up players like we did last season, where it was KRH at right back, Otoo at left back, Mehmet in goals... nightmare stuff

I seen on Instagram that Mullen is away on holiday, so not counting on him coming back. Maybe away down south as they aren’t in for preseason yet.

Abdulai getting an injury is a blow - think he will be key to our promotion chances and was expecting a good season from him.

We need to get off to a good start to the season, so I think we need players in the door over the next couple of weeks to fully prepare for the competitive games. I agree with the above, starting with a makeshift team wont win you the league

Surely we already have a couple of centre halves lined up before Nuri got injured?

You’d hope so but it’s taken 18 months and counting to settle on a permanent keeper.
