This should be a cracker. Brazil give the impression of improving with every game but they were probably hoping for a less formidable opponent in the first knockout round. Difficult one to call but I think Brazil might just shade it.

Will watch this one… haven’t seen that much so far but this should be a good one. Netherlands Morocco could be good as well but shame it’s on so late (might tape it)

Commentator just said that the largest population of Japanese in the world outside of Japan obviously live in Brazil. Surprised to hear that. Would defo have got that wrong in the pub quiz…

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Clearly impacted by BBC ending Long Wave Radio this week.

Looking forward to this game. Finding it hard not to shout at Maeda.

^^^ Maybe a cunning plan would be to try and promote the number of male Scottish babies to be born in Brazil. Go through their beach-roots programme and get them signed for the mighty Pars and later a Scotland Cap 🧢🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Must be a good chance Casemiro will be subbed at half-time.

I enjoy watching Japan. They play with speed, high energy, positivity & good technical skills.

Never underestimate Casemiro, he may look slow but his speed of thought and game management is on a different level
