Desperate stuff that. I thought we weren’t keen on loans given the recruitment ‘model’. We are effectively developing a player for United. Don’t think he exactly set the heather on fire at Airdrie.

Mon the Pars!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, a loan. Not sure anyone did that well at Airdrie but clearly well thought of at Dundee to have that length of contract. I`d hate to see another Barney situation but it`s not that different to someone like JCM seeing out his contract and moving on.

Don’t really know him but quick glimpse through the net and Dundee Utd fans seem to rate him highly with many thinking he should be in the starting eleven.

Interest in a loan deal confirmed by Scott Burns in the Record. He also says JCM to Wigan isn`t signed and sealed but no suggestion it won`t happen.

A hugely underwhelming rumour.

he never played for Airdrie, he was listed as a player on the co-operation agreement between the clubs but Goodwin wanted to keep him around their first team.

the club has to look at every option possible including loans, with so few options in that position up here its not a surprise to be linked with the lad.

Might be a short term loan to cover the Tod and Abdula injuries.

Sounds like a lot of folks have seen him play. I’ve not personally.

We could sign Harry Kane and some of our resident experts will question whether he can cut it in the Scottish Championship.

If he has signed a 3 year deal they clearly see something in him, otherwise why waste your time. I am sure we will have to live with a couple of selected loan options thos season, whilst bringing on our own talent. Its a reality for a club like ours. Also it helps bring on younger players in the squad and creates competition.

He didn’t play at Airdrie, he’s 20 and played several times for Scotland Under 21’s. He’s had a handful of games in the Premier and played 15 times for Kelty as an 18 year old.

I’m not sure if folk were hoping for Guardiol on a free but his profile is comparable with JCM, he’d be a benefit to the team for sure. Quite possibly we’re saving any fee for a permanent keeper.

Players are here to get us points and prizes, I don`t care if we get cash when they leave.

In fairness for a big lad he tends to fall down at the touch of a feather. He’s not conning the refs at this tournament so far.

Championship referees, falling over - legitimate or not, there would be no way he gets a penalty anyway for Dunfermline Athletic. On those facts, I am out. 👀😬
