| 1. Author: Stanza Date: Sun 23rd Aug 2026. 20:05 Why is it that catering for ordinary fans at small clubs is usually so much better than at most SPFL clubs? I was at Tayport yesterday for the Scottish Cup tie against Carluke (2-0 for Tayport). The refreshment snack offered filled rolls with several different fillings, four different types of hot pies and the best bridie* I can ever remember eating, as well as a wide range of soft canned drinks, and the usual tea, coffee etc. * Supplied by Rough & Fraser, Dundee. | 2. Author: Hoolie Date: Sun 23rd Aug 2026. 20:14 Iv always said the kiosks at East End should be served by the local scran vans based in Elgin,Pitreavie and Inverkeithing offering the best rolls week in/out. Get the local scran vans involved..even one outside EEP. Reply |

I can only think it’s just a generic menu supplied with the company’s associated with football clubs in the SPFL. Stephen’s had no such excuse though and one of their most popular brands, lentil soup was never ever sold at East End Park. Could never understand that. | 7. Author: neils Date: Sun 23rd Aug 2026. 21:50 I think it`s improved at EEP since the change I think. I tend to have a steak Bridie, and it`s better than Stephen`s, the pies I`ve had were ok. Haven`t tried a Donner pie yet. Whoever does the steak pies at The Haws are the best I`ve had, also was at Kelty on Saturday, not too bad Last time I was at Peterhead, was about the best selection I`ve had. I think for us, we`ve just got a brief period before the game, and at half time to sell, at wee clubs you can buy while watching the game, I`m happy with what we have- could do with decent coffee though!
